A workspace that travels with you through Utrecht Centraal
Utrecht Centraal is one of the busiest railway stations in the country, and for many people who work in the city the train is simply another place to get things done. Just like the kitchen table, the office desk and a client's meeting room.
We set laptops up so they work securely and identically in each of those places. Files and apps come from Microsoft 365, so your colleague picks up exactly where they left off. Updates and new apps install themselves as soon as the laptop has a connection, wherever it is. Signing in uses two-factor authentication, so only your colleague can reach their work.

Interns, graduates and new colleagues in Utrecht up and running fast
With a university and a university of applied sciences in the city, many interns, graduates and first-time job seekers enter the labour market each year. Many organisations also employ students part time. So people join and move on regularly.
We turn that into a fixed routine. For each role we record which software, permissions and devices a person gets. You pass on a name and a start date, and we make sure the account and laptop are ready. The laptop goes to the office or to their home and sets itself up at first sign-in. On their last working day we close off access and prepare the device for the next colleague.

Our office in Vianen, home to Select IT Professionals, sits just south of the city by the A2 and the A27. Select IT has been part of Infodatek Group since November 2025. From Vianen we support staff in every district, from the city centre and Wittevrouwen to Lombok, Zuilen and Hoograven.
Most help is given remotely: sharing a screen works as well at home as in the office. We deliver new laptops in person or send them to your employee's home. For a training session or a rollout day at your office, we are happy to come over, including in Houten, Zeist, De Bilt or Nieuwegein.

Questions about workplace management in Utrecht
We take on lots of interns and students every year. How do we keep that manageable?
With fixed profiles per role. An intern, for example, gets an account with exactly the apps and folders they need, for the length of their placement. You pass on the start and end dates, and we handle the rest. Afterwards we close the account and prepare the laptop for the next person. That keeps your licence overview accurate, and you always know who has access to what.
Many colleagues work on the train or at client sites. How do we keep that secure?
The laptop is set up to work securely anywhere, with no need for the office network. The drive is encrypted, signing in uses two-factor authentication and updates arrive automatically. On public wifi, encrypted connections keep your data yours. And if someone leaves their laptop on the train, we lock it remotely.
Can staff use their own phone for work?
Yes. With app management we place work apps such as Outlook and Teams in a protected part of the phone. Company data stays there, while personal photos and messages stay private. When someone leaves, we remove only the work section. Prefer business phones or tablets? We supply and manage those too, so they are ready to use straight away.
Can you run a Microsoft 365 training session at our office in Utrecht?
Gladly. In an on-site session we show how to collaborate in Teams, share files through OneDrive and SharePoint and work smarter in Outlook. We tailor the content to your team, from new starters to experienced users. That way you get more out of the licences you already have.
One of our colleagues currently handles IT on the side. What changes for them?
They get their time back. Questions about passwords, printers and Teams now go to our service desk. If they want to stay involved, that is possible, for instance as the internal point of contact or when choosing new devices. We agree together who does what, so your staff know exactly where to go with their questions.
