Expert IT

By and for IT specialists

If you have your own IT department, we reinforce your team rather than replace it. You bring in exactly the specialist you are missing at that moment, and they leave again once it stands.

Expert IT

Extra knowledge, extra hands, temporarily

Around 30 percent of our customers have their own IT department. Those teams handle the day-to-day perfectly well; it only pinches with something they have not done before, or when there are simply not enough hours. That is what Expert IT is for: by IT specialists, for IT specialists.

  • A specialist for exactly your question
  • Extra hands on a project that would otherwise sit still
  • Knowledge transfer, so your team can carry on without us
  • Available to you as well if you are an IT company yourself

Where we often join in

Cloud migrations
From the inventory to the switch, while production carries on as usual.
Network and monitoring
Building an infrastructure or setting up monitoring that you run yourself afterwards.
Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
Starting and setting up a project, including the agreements around it.
AI integrations
Connecting Copilot or your own AI assistant to your systems, with permissions and agreements properly arranged.
Integrations between systems
Thinking along about the approach or building the integration itself, so your software exchanges data instead of you retyping it.

What does it involve?

A specialist for exactly this question

We bring in someone with the experience your team does not have at that moment: a cloud migration, a new network infrastructure, setting up monitoring, starting a SharePoint project, connecting two software packages or hooking AI up to your own systems. And when your team is simply short of hours, we join in too.

Knowledge that stays

We do not take it over, we hand it over

The experience we picked up at other organisations comes with us, and we leave it behind with you. That is the point of working this way: afterwards your own team carries on without us.

For colleagues in the trade

For IT and software companies too

If you are an IT company yourself and a question lands outside your core business, you can bring us in. We appear together towards your client, and you keep the relationship.

That often happens with software questions. We have DBAs and developers in house, and we regularly bring them in at MSPs who do not have that expertise themselves: a database that needs to perform better, a migration to a new version, or an integration between two packages.

Only the thinking?

Then you are after Strategic advice

With Expert IT somebody joins your team and does the work as well. If what you want is the judgement alone, with no hand of ours in the delivery, that is our consultancy service Strategic advice: an analysis, a recommendation and a plan you can act on, whoever ends up carrying it out.

In practice the two run into each other. First work out where you are heading, then bring in the specialist who helps you get there.

Is your own IT team short of knowledge or hands somewhere?

Tell us which question keeps getting parked. In half an hour we will say who we would put alongside, and for how long.
