Security audit

First find out where you stand

An independent review of your network, your workplaces and your agreements. You get a report that reads for the board and works for your administrator.

What we look at

A snapshot you can act on

We look at what is in place, what hangs off it and what happens during an attack. Not a scan that hands you three hundred findings, but an overview in order of importance.

  • Network, workplaces, servers and cloud environment
  • Access rights and who can reach what
  • Backup and recovery: does it actually work when you need it?
  • The agreements around it, because technology alone is not it

How it runs

A conversation first
We agree what we look at and what we deliberately leave alone.
The review
Largely remote, with a day on site if your environment calls for it.
The report
Ordered by urgency, with what it costs to resolve each point.

Independent

Also when your management sits elsewhere

An audit is only worth something if it is honest. So we also carry them out for organisations whose management sits with another party. The report is yours: share it with whoever you like, including your current supplier.

We do not write a quotation into it. What needs doing goes in the report, and what you do with that is up to you.

Readable

A report for two kinds of reader

At the front a summary the board reads in ten minutes: where we stand, what is urgent, what it costs. At the back the detail an administrator can work from, with references to exactly what we found.

If you are working towards ISO 27001, NEN 7510 or NIS2, the report lines up with the parts those ask for.

Afterwards

You are free to carry on yourself

Many organisations pick up the first points themselves and leave the rest with us. Others place the whole thing with us, or repeat the measurement after a year to see what has changed.

If you choose the managed service, we take the report as the starting point and you see in the reporting which points have been cleared.

Over to you

Want to know what an audit would turn up at your place?

Tell us what you would like examined. We call within one working day to agree the scope, and only once that is settled do we start. You are tied to nothing and the report is yours.

Request an audit

After the audit

From report to result

The audit stands on its own and commits you to nothing. If you would rather not pick up the improvements yourself, we sort them out for you, in the order the report points to. After that we keep your security up continuously, so the level holds and you do not start from zero again next year.

That can be separately, as a managed service with a SOC watching 24/7, or as part of Digital Care, where management, backup, security and the AI layer sit in one arrangement.

Would you rather talk it over first?

Not sure whether an audit makes sense right now, or want to hear what we run into at comparable organisations? Call or email; a request can wait.
