Public cloud is fast and scales flexibly. Private cloud gives you full control over where your data sits. Hybrid takes the best of both. And you do not have to make that choice for your whole organisation at once.

Your accounting asks for something different than your website, and your email something different again than your design software. We look per application at speed, availability and retention, and give it the place that fits.

ANYBASE

A sovereign cloud, run by us

ANYBASE is a private cloud in a Tier 3 designed, ISO 27001 certified data centre in the European Union. You get your own, shielded environment in which your servers run as separate virtual machines. We manage everything underneath: hardware, virtualisation, storage, network and the security around it.

That makes ANYBASE a sovereign cloud. Your data stays in the European Union, you know at which location, and management lies with an ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified Dutch company with people you can call. Inside the data centre your environment runs on a cluster: if a server drops out, your virtual machines start up on another one by themselves.

What it is good at

For software that cannot simply move to the public cloud

Not every application exists as SaaS, and not every organisation wants its data with a large foreign cloud provider. That is where ANYBASE comes into its own.

Backup

A backup that always stays untouched

For your backup we follow the 3-2-1-1-0 rule, today's standard in the industry: several copies, on different types of storage and in different places. One of them is completely offline, and we test the restore, so there are zero surprises when you need it.

• A backup in the data centre itself every day, for quickly restoring a single file or a complete server
• A copy in an independent second data centre, at a different location
• Tape backups kept offline, physically disconnected from any network. Nobody can reach them over the internet, so that copy always stays intact
• Stored immutably and encrypted with AES-256, both in transit and at rest
• Sovereign: your backups stay within the European Union, and we manage the keys ourselves
• Periodic restore tests, so it is certain that restoring works before it is ever needed

Microsoft Azure

A fallback location, ready when you need it

ANYBASE works perfectly well on its own, and together with Microsoft Azure if you like. With Azure Site Recovery you extend your environment with disaster recovery: your servers are replicated continuously to an Azure region inside the EU, in a completely different place from the data centre. Should that fallback ever be needed, we start your environment there with your data up to the last recovery point, and move everything back afterwards.

Per server we agree in advance how quickly it has to be back and how much data may be lost at most, the RTO and the RPO. With a test failover we show periodically that recovery really works, without your production noticing.

If you use Microsoft 365, sign-in can run through Entra ID, with MFA through Conditional Access. And you connect other Azure services where that makes sense, so you never have to choose between your own cloud and Microsoft's.

For healthcare

Built for healthcare organisations, NEN 7510 certified

We also host ANYBASE for healthcare organisations that work with patient data. That is where the strictest requirements for security, continuity and privacy apply, and the platform is set up for exactly that: your data stays in the European Union, is managed by a NEN 7510 certified company and stays sovereign in the backup too.

Choose the certainty that suits you

ANYBASE comes in three service levels. At every level we also support you with the reporting obligations under NIS2 and the GDPR, with a fixed flow of information when something is going on.

• Bronze: the foundation, with support on working days from 7:00 to 19:00
• Silver: 99.5 percent availability, and reachable by phone outside office hours too
• Gold: 99.9 percent, critical calls picked up within 2 hours, Saturdays included, and an emergency number that reaches an engineer day and night

A home office that works just like the office

With Microsoft 365 and a well set up workplace it does not matter where you are. At home, on the road or at the office you open the same files, with the same protection. A home office is then not a separate project, just your own workplace in a different place. Access is arranged per person, so a new colleague can get going from day one.

The move

Moving while you keep working

We start by measuring: how much compute, memory and storage do your servers really use? We tune your ANYBASE environment to that, so you do not take more than you need.

We move your servers over as they run today, without setting everything up again. Because we synchronise beforehand, the switch itself is short and falls outside working hours, often over a weekend. On Monday you simply carry on, and in the weeks after we stand by extra closely.
