System administration IJsselstein

System administration in IJsselstein, so you can run your business

Do you handle the IT yourself, or does a handy colleague fit it in around their own work? We take it over: server, network, backups and security, fully arranged, mostly remotely and from nearby Vianen.

Doing business on the IJssel

Your IT off your hands, your time back

IJsselstein is a compact town on the Hollandse IJssel, with a historic centre, the newer district of Zenderpark and business parks such as Paardenveld, Lagedijk, Over Oudland and De Corridor. Many small and medium-sized firms work here: builders, installers, wholesalers, shops and offices. Their IT often grows along without a set plan. We take over all of the system administration, from server and network to backups, security and cloud. Everything is documented, we watch it daily and you have one contact who gets to know your business.

  • All of your system administration taken off your hands, explained in plain language
  • Documentation of your environment, so the knowledge is not in one person's head
  • Remote management, and a visit whenever that works better
  • Grows with you, from a small team to several hundred employees

From doing it yourself to sorted

System administration in IJsselstein for those who do it themselves now

In many smaller businesses, IT starts with a few laptops and a router. A few years later there is a server, Wi-Fi in the workshop, an accounting package, shared folders and a handful of cloud subscriptions, often kept track of by the owner or a colleague with a knack for it.

We take it over from you step by step. First we list which systems, accounts and licences you have and who can access what. Then we bring the environment into good order and keep it that way. Your colleague can go back to the job they were hired for, and you know the IT is well looked after.

What we arrange

What system administration covers with us

System administration covers your entire IT environment, not a single device. We watch the whole picture and keep every part working together.

  • The server in the office, or the move to Microsoft 365 or ANYBASE, our private cloud
  • Network, firewall and Wi-Fi, including in the workshop or warehouse
  • Backup and recovery, with tests so you know a restore works
  • Security and updates for all your systems
  • Monitoring that alerts us to anything out of the ordinary
  • Contact with the suppliers of your software and internet connection

Secure, demonstrable and predictable

Our ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certification builds trust, including with your own customers. Want to strengthen your security further? We help with Cybersecurity and an audit. For agricultural businesses there is the Digital Care Agro add-on, for the technology in greenhouse and shed.

Sectors

For businesses in the town and the Lopikerwaard

IJsselstein is a town of entrepreneurs, with a lively centre and business parks on its edges. Around it lies the green countryside of the Lopikerwaard.

Construction, installation and engineering

Paardenveld and Over Oudland are home to contractors, installers and technical firms. They combine an office with a workshop and people on projects. We make sure the server, the planning and the project folders can be reached from anywhere.

Shops and hospitality

In the town centre, around the castle tower and the old churches, you find shops, cafés, restaurants and craft businesses. They rely on a till system, a webshop and a stable connection. We keep the technology behind the counter running reliably.

Wholesale and transport

Wholesalers and transport companies on the edge of town have the A2 right round the corner. Their orders, stock and planning run on software that is in use all day. We manage servers, network and integrations as one whole.

Agricultural countryside

The Lopikerwaard around the town is home to dairy farmers and other agricultural businesses, and more of their work runs on IT too. With Digital Care Agro we manage the office and also monitor the technology in the shed, with one contact.

Area

System administration in IJsselstein and the villages around it

IJsselstein lies on the Hollandse IJssel, south-west of Utrecht. The A2 forms the border with Nieuwegein, and the express tram connects the town via Nieuwegein with Utrecht Centraal. The Gerbrandytoren, the transmission mast you can see from far away, gives the town its recognisable skyline.

We work from Vianen and reach you quickly via the A2. We help businesses in the town centre, in districts such as Zenderpark, Achterveld and IJsselveld, on the business parks and in the countryside. Our area extends to Lopik, Benschop, Montfoort and De Meern, and we work for organisations throughout the country.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about system administration in IJsselstein

We are a small business. Does outsourcing system administration make sense for us?

Yes, especially then. In a small team there is usually nobody with the time to keep the IT properly up to date. We do it for you, with monitoring, updates and backups that we check. You have one fixed contact and do not need to bring IT expertise in-house yourself. As your business grows, the management simply grows with it.

All our IT knowledge sits with one colleague. How do you take that over?

Calmly, and together with that colleague. We plan a few sessions to go through everything: which systems there are, how the network is built, which suppliers are involved and where the backups are kept. We record all of it in documentation that belongs to you. Then we take over management, and your colleague can always come to us with questions or ideas.

Our office and workshop are on Paardenveld. Can you improve the network there?

Certainly. We look at how your network is currently built and where the Wi-Fi can be better, for example in the workshop or warehouse. Then we propose a network that covers the whole building, with a good firewall and a separate guest network for visitors. After installation we take over management, so everything stays up to date and we see when something needs attention.

We want to switch from our current IT partner. How does that work?

We arrange it properly and in consultation. We agree with your current partner how access details, licences and documentation are handed over. We only take over the environment once everything is clear, and we check straight away that backups and security are in order. For your staff, little changes at first apart from a new point of contact.

Do you also come out to IJsselstein?

Yes, when it is needed. Our office in Vianen is just across the Lek, so you are close by for us. Most of the work happens remotely, because that is quickest for everyone. For an introduction, new equipment, a refurbishment or the strategy meeting, we are glad to visit at a time that suits you.
