System administration in Bergen op Zoom, from port to town centre
From the Theodorushaven to the Grote Markt: people in Bergen op Zoom work hard, often outside office hours too. We make sure your servers, network and backups keep up with that pace. One team from the region, with a dedicated contact who knows your environment.
Your entire IT environment in view and in good hands
System administration covers everything behind the scenes that keeps your business running: servers, the network, backup and recovery, security, updates, monitoring and the cloud. Infodatek Group takes that work off your hands, or supports your own IT colleague. We do most of it remotely and come on site when that works better. Since 2007 we have managed IT for organisations across the Benelux, from SMEs to organisations with several hundred employees. In Bergen op Zoom, many businesses are looking for a solid foundation for production, storage and transport. That is exactly where we focus.

System administration
What system administration in Bergen op Zoom takes care of
You notice a well-managed IT environment mainly because everything works. Behind that calm is steady work: keeping servers up to date, keeping the network stable and running backups that we also restore to test them. We take on that work in a structured way, so you can focus on your own trade.
We record everything in clear documentation, so you always know what is in place and how it fits together.
Management and maintenance of servers, on site or in the cloud
Network, firewall and connections between sites
Backup and recovery, with regular restore tests
Updates and patches for systems and software
Monitoring that watches continuously and flags issues early
Coordination of your suppliers, from internet to business software
Industry and logistics
IT that keeps pace with industry and logistics in Bergen op Zoom
Around the Theodorushaven, chemicals, food production, wholesale and logistics sit close together. Work there often continues in shifts, and ships and lorries do not keep office hours. Your planning software, your ERP system and the scanners in the warehouse are simply available whenever you need them.
That is why we plan maintenance and updates together with you, at times that suit you. Our monitoring keeps an eye on servers, storage and connections, so we resolve most things before anyone on the shop floor notices.
Secure and demonstrable
Cybersecurity and NIS2 without the hassle
A secure environment starts with the basics: well-configured firewalls, up-to-date systems, clear access rules and backups kept separate from your network. We build that foundation and maintain it. Infodatek Group is itself ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified and works every day to the same standards we recommend to you.
If you work in chemicals, food production or transport and your organisation is medium-sized or larger, NIS2 may apply to you. We help you work out what that means for you and make sure your measures are demonstrably in order. Smart Compliance keeps it all organised.
How we work
One dedicated contact and a plan for the future
You get a dedicated contact who knows your environment and your business. We do most of the work remotely. If someone needs to be on site for a server, a new connection or a move, we plan it together.
We look ahead with you in regular strategy meetings. If you want management and security in one agreement at a fixed price per employee, Managed Operations in Digital Care, our own platform, is the natural fit.
Sectors
For the businesses that keep the town running
The economy on the Oosterschelde is broad. These are the organisations our system administration suits well.
Chemicals and plastics
Manufacturers with strict procedures and high safety standards. We provide a stable server environment, separate networks where needed and security that fits in with your own quality system.
Logistics and wholesale
Warehouses and distribution centres around the port that rely on their WMS, scanners and links with customers and carriers. We monitor systems, network and integrations, so orders keep flowing smoothly.
Food production
Production where planning, traceability and food safety come together. We manage the servers and databases behind your production and quality systems and provide backups that keep your data safe.
Shops and hospitality in the town centre
Shops, restaurants and service providers around the Grote Markt. For them we set up a reliable network in which tills, card payments and guest wifi are neatly separated, plus a backup that runs every day.
Area
System administration in Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding area
Drive from Zeeland along the A58 and Bergen op Zoom is the first Brabant town you reach. From Terneuzen we get there through the Westerscheldetunnel, and from Vianen via the A27 and the A58. That position between Zeeland and the rest of Brabant is handy if you have sites on both sides of the provincial border.
We work throughout the municipality: the town centre and the business parks, but also Halsteren and Lepelstraat. We are also active along the rest of the Brabantse Wal, towards Steenbergen and across the water on Tholen.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about system administration in Bergen op Zoom
Our sites are in Zeeland and in Brabant. Can one partner handle both?
Yes, that is completely normal for us. With our head office in Terneuzen we work in Zeeland every day, and Bergen op Zoom is right next door. We manage your sites as one environment, with the same security, the same agreements and one point of contact. We plan on-site work at whichever address needs it, on either side of the provincial border.
We work in shifts. When do you carry out maintenance?
At a time that suits you. We first look at how your rota and production run, and plan updates and maintenance around them, for example between two shifts or on a quiet weekend. We record this so everyone knows where they stand. Meanwhile, our monitoring keeps a continuous eye on your systems, outside office hours too.
Does NIS2 apply to our company?
That depends on your sector and size. Chemicals, food, transport and waste management are on the list, usually from medium-sized organisations upwards. If you supply a company like that, your customer may also set requirements for you. We work it out together and give you a clear overview of what you already have in place and what still needs attention.
We already have our own IT person. Can you support them?
Certainly. Many businesses have someone in house who handles the day-to-day questions. We take on the heavier work, such as server management, backup, security and monitoring, or bring in a specialist for a project through Expert IT. Your IT colleague stays in charge and gets a whole team behind them.
Can our server stay in the factory?
It can. Sometimes a server on site is the best choice, for example for systems that need to run close to your machines or your warehouse. We then manage it just as carefully as a server in the cloud. Other parts can move to ANYBASE, our own private cloud in a Tier 3 designed data centre in the European Union. Together we decide what belongs where.
