System administration in West-Brabant

System administration in Rucphen, for businesses in five villages

The municipality of Rucphen is made up of five villages between Roosendaal and Etten-Leur, with the De Nijverhei business park as its economic heart. Manufacturers, traders, farmers and service providers here simply want their IT well arranged. That is what we take care of.

What you get

All the technology behind your business with one team

System administration means someone looks after the technology behind your business in a structured way: servers and storage, the network, the firewall, backups, updates, monitoring, cloud and suppliers. At many businesses in Rucphen and Sint Willebrord, the owner does this now, or a colleague who is handy with computers. Infodatek Group takes it over or backs that colleague up, with a team that works on it every day. We have done this since 2007, for businesses of every size up to hundreds of employees. Most of it we do remotely.

  • Stable servers and networks for production, trade and office
  • Maintenance planned around your working hours and busy periods
  • Secure remote access for your machine suppliers
  • One point of contact for all your IT suppliers

De Nijverhei

System administration in Rucphen for manufacturing and trade on De Nijverhei

Between Rucphen and Sprundel lies De Nijverhei, the business park where much of the municipality's work gets done. It is home to production companies, distributors and trading firms, often with an office and a hall under one roof. More and more machines in those halls are connected to the network, and the supplier wants remote access for maintenance or a fault.

We arrange that access securely, so a supplier can reach only their own machine and we can see who logged in and when. We keep the office and hall networks separate where that makes sense. Updates for your servers and business software are planned for when production is idle, and we agree the timing with you in advance.

Countryside

From Sprundel to Zegge: IT for businesses outside the village centres

Not every business in the municipality is on a business park. Around Sprundel, Schijf and Zegge you find arable farmers, livestock farmers, growers, agricultural contractors and leisure businesses on the edge of the woods. Office, barn and house often share one yard, sometimes with a greenhouse or stable as well.

We provide a network that connects all those buildings securely, with a network of its own for visitors and a separate one for cameras and machines. Where useful, we add a second internet connection as a backup, so records and planning stay reachable. For horticulture and agriculture there is also Digital Care Agro, our add-on to Managed Operations.

Getting started

Switching to Infodatek Group: how to start in Rucphen

Switching happens in clear steps. The first is an introductory meeting at your premises, or online if you prefer. Then we take stock of your environment and write everything down. If you currently work with another IT provider, we coordinate the handover with them.

  • An introduction and a list of your wishes
  • Inventory of servers, network, backups, licences and suppliers
  • Documentation of your environment and a plan of action
  • Handover at a quiet moment and start of monitoring
  • Regular strategy meetings about the next steps

Secure and in the Netherlands

Cybersecurity and cloud that suit your business

In day-to-day management, security is a standard part: systems up to date, the firewall properly configured and access rights clearly arranged. If a customer asks about your security, or NIS2 starts to apply to you, we help with a cybersecurity audit and Smart Compliance.

Want to get rid of the server in the cupboard? Then your environment can move to ANYBASE. That is our private cloud, running in a data centre in the European Union that is Tier 3 designed, which we extend with Microsoft Azure when that helps. Or arrange it all at once: Managed Operations in Digital Care puts management and security under one fixed price per employee.

Sectors

The businesses we help here

The municipality has its own mix of industry, trade and green business.

Manufacturing and production

Companies on De Nijverhei with machines, workshops and tight production planning. We manage servers and network, give machine suppliers secure remote access and schedule maintenance when production is idle.

Trade and distribution

Wholesalers and distributors that supply customers across the region from the municipality. We keep their server environment fast and monitor the links with customers and hauliers continuously.

Farming and horticulture

Arable farmers, livestock farmers and growers in the countryside. We connect office, barn and greenhouse with a reliable network. With Digital Care Agro we can also monitor climate computers and other greenhouse equipment.

Leisure and recreation

Leisure businesses, restaurants and accommodation on the edge of the woods. We set up a network in which guests, tills and administration each have their own place, and a backup that runs every day.

Construction, installation and trades

Builders, installers and craftspeople from the villages, with a workshop and people on the road. We make sure drawings, planning and records are safely in one place and reachable from anywhere.

Area

System administration in Rucphen and the four other villages

The municipality of Rucphen consists of Rucphen, Sint Willebrord, Sprundel, Schijf and Zegge. Sint Willebrord, known locally as 't Heike, is the largest village. We work in all five villages, on De Nijverhei and in the countryside, and also in the surrounding municipalities, such as Roosendaal, Etten-Leur and Zundert.

From our head office in Terneuzen we take the Westerscheldetunnel and the A58, which runs along the municipality. Because we handle almost everything remotely, you do not have to wait for someone to get in the car. For on-site work, such as a new server or the network in a new hall, we make an appointment that suits you.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about system administration in Rucphen

Our machine supplier wants remote access to the machines. Can that be arranged securely?

Yes. We set up separate, secured access, so the supplier can reach only their own machines and not the rest of your network. We record who has access and see when someone logs in. If you like, that access is only open at times you approve. That way you get quick help from your supplier and your network stays protected.

We are in the countryside near Schijf. Can you help us too?

Certainly. For remote management it makes no difference whether you are on De Nijverhei or in the middle of the fields. We do pay extra attention to your internet connection and the network on the yard, and where it helps we provide a backup connection. If someone needs to visit, we plan it around your work on the land.

Do you keep an eye on things in the evenings and at weekends too?

Our monitoring runs continuously and alerts us early when something needs attention. We agree with you what follow-up you want outside office hours. Within Digital Care you can add round-the-clock monitoring with MDR, and in the Elite edition it is included as standard.

Do you have anything specifically for farms and growers?

Yes, Digital Care Agro. That is an add-on to Managed Operations for horticulture and agriculture. We then also monitor climate computers, energy systems and cameras, keep the network in the greenhouse or shed separate from the office and schedule updates within your growing windows. Your suppliers get secure remote access, and we are their dedicated point of contact.
