System administration on the A58

System administration in Etten-Leur for businesses on the move

On Vosdonk and the other business parks of Etten-Leur, companies are building, assembling and expanding. A new hall, extra staff or a bigger building: your IT has to keep up. We handle the system administration, so your growth never waits for the technology.

At a glance

An IT environment that grows with your business

System administration means looking after everything your business runs on: servers, the network, backup and recovery, security, updates, monitoring, cloud and the suppliers that come with them. Many companies here have grown fast, from a workshop with ten people to a production hall with its own office. Their IT often grows along without a clear plan. Infodatek Group brings structure to that and keeps it in place. We have done this since 2007 for organisations across the Benelux, with one dedicated contact and a team working from Terneuzen and Vianen.

  • An environment ready for extra people, machines and locations
  • Early input on a move, a new build or an extension on Vosdonk
  • Secure remote access for machine suppliers
  • Monitoring, updates and backups on a steady schedule

What system administration is

System administration in Etten-Leur: the foundation under your business

Behind every order, drawing and invoice sits technology you never see. A server or cloud environment running your ERP package, a network linking office and hall, a firewall on the outside and backups that run every night. We manage the whole picture and watch it constantly, so small signals never turn into big jobs.

We document everything we manage. So you know what is in place, why it was set up that way and who to call. In regular strategy meetings we look ahead together: which systems are reaching their limits and which investments are coming up.

  • Servers and storage, in the hall, in the office or in the cloud
  • Network and firewall for office, production and warehouse
  • Backup and recovery, with restore tests we walk through with you
  • Updates and patches, aligned with your production schedule
  • Monitoring of systems, disk space and connections
  • Coordination with your ERP, internet and machine suppliers

Production and assembly

IT for production and assembly on Vosdonk

Vosdonk lies on the western side of the municipality, right on the A58. Hundreds of companies sit side by side there: manufacturing, assembly, construction, transport and industrial services. IT does not stop at the office door. Planning drives the shop floor, draughtsmen work with heavy CAD files and machines send data back to your systems.

We keep that chain stable. Where it makes sense, we separate the machine network from office IT, and we schedule maintenance outside production hours. If a machine supplier wants to look in remotely, we set up temporary access that is only open when needed and is properly logged.

Expanding and moving

New premises or an extra hall in Etten-Leur? Bring us in early

Many businesses in the municipality are looking for more space, for example on Vosdonk-Noord. With a step like that, IT often comes last, while cabling, the internet connection and the server room belong in the design from the start. The earlier we get involved, the smoother the move.

We draw up a plan for the transition: what moves, what we replace and what is better off in ANYBASE, our private cloud in a Tier 3 designed data centre in the European Union. We schedule the switchover itself for a quiet moment, such as a weekend, so your team can pick up where it left off on Monday.

Sectors

Who we work for in Etten-Leur

A broad local economy: manufacturers and technical service firms on the business parks, shops and offices around the centre.

Production and assembly

Companies that make components, build machines or assemble products. We manage the servers behind your ERP and planning, keep the shop floor and the office technically apart and fit maintenance around your production rhythm.

Construction and finishing

Contractors, installers and finishing firms with a base on the business park and crews on projects across the region. Project files, estimates and as-built drawings are stored centrally and securely, within reach of whoever needs them.

Industrial services

Maintenance, service and engineering firms working for clients all over Brabant. They need systems for work orders, planning and technical documentation, and an environment where engineers can log in securely from outside.

Shops and offices

Retailers in the shopping centre and offices in the town centre, from accountants to estate agents. We give them a reliable server or cloud environment, a separate connection for payments and a nightly backup.

Service area

System administration in Etten-Leur and the neighbouring municipalities

The municipality grew out of two ribbon villages, Etten and Leur, into a sizeable town between Breda and Roosendaal. Many people know Etten from Vincent van Gogh, who lived there with his parents in 1881. We work in every district, from Grauwe Polder and Schoenmakershoek to Banakkers and Etten-Leur-Noord, and on all the business parks.

From our head office in Terneuzen we drive through the Westerschelde Tunnel and along the A58 to Etten-Leur, and from Vianen via the A27 and Breda. We resolve most things remotely. For a move, a new server cabinet or the network in a new hall, we come on site when it suits your schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about system administration in Etten-Leur

We are moving to new premises on Vosdonk next year. When should we bring you in?

As early as possible, ideally while the drawings are still on the table. Then we can help decide on the server room, the cabling, the wifi in the hall and ordering the internet connection, which can take a while. With a moving plan in a clear order, the switchover goes right first time.

Our machine builder wants to log in remotely. Can that be done securely?

Yes. We set up separate access that only reaches the machines or systems the supplier looks after. It is closed by default and opens when there is an appointment, and we keep track of who logged in and when. Your supplier can help quickly, without getting into the rest of your network.

Our draughtsmen work with large CAD files. Can that run from the cloud?

It depends on the files and the way you work. Sometimes a fast server on site is the best choice, with a backup to ANYBASE. If your draughtsmen also work from home or at clients, a central cloud environment may suit them better. We test it with your team first, so you know it works.

We have gone from fifteen to sixty people in a few years. Is our IT set up for that?

We are happy to find out. We start with an inventory of your servers, network, backups, licences and suppliers and document everything. Then we discuss what is in good shape, what is getting tight and what the next step requires. After growth like that, an environment often still works fine but lacks some structure. We add it.

What will our staff notice when we switch to you?

As little as possible. Taking over the management happens mostly behind the scenes. Staff mainly notice that they know where to go with questions and that updates arrive at set times. If they need to do something, such as signing in again, we explain it beforehand in plain language. Management and security in one agreement is possible later with Managed Operations in Digital Care.
