Network management Zeeland

Network management in Zeeland that connects all your sites

Good Wi-Fi, a well-configured firewall and secure connections between your locations, from Walcheren to Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Infodatek Group designs, manages and monitors your network, so everyone can get on with their work.

The foundation of your IT

A network you no longer have to think about

Your network is everything between the internet connection and your employee's device: the router, the firewall, the switches, the Wi-Fi and the links to other locations. When that is set up well, you never notice it. Many organisations in the province work from more than one site, with water in between. They want a colleague in Zierikzee to reach files just as easily as a colleague in Terneuzen. Infodatek Group designs your network, sets it up, monitors it and keeps improving it.

Connecting across the water

Your locations in Zeeland, securely connected

An office on Walcheren, a workshop in Hulst and a site on Zuid-Beveland: in this province, locations are often on different sides of the Westerschelde or the Oosterschelde. With a site-to-site VPN we connect those locations over the internet into a single network. To your staff it feels like one building.

Every site gets the same set-up and security, all visible from one place. Home workers and colleagues on the road connect in the same secure way.

  • Site-to-site VPN between your locations
  • Secure access for home workers and colleagues on the road
  • A 4G or 5G backup connection for extra peace of mind

Wi-Fi and cabling

Wi-Fi for offices, warehouses and workshops

A business premises is often more than an office. Think of a warehouse with handheld scanners, a workshop, a showroom or a cold store. We measure how the signal travels through your building and place the access points where they do the most good, for good coverage even between steel walls and racking.

Visitors and guests get their own guest network, separate from your business network. Machines, cameras and printers go into a separate part of the network. That keeps everything organised and well shielded.

Firewall and security

A firewall that suits the way you work

The firewall decides what can enter and leave your network. We configure it around the way your organisation works, keep its software up to date and regularly check that the settings are still right. Every change is recorded, with the reason.

Infodatek Group is certified to ISO 27001 and NEN 7510. Our network security ties in with Cybersecurity, Smart Compliance and NIS2. Have your own IT department? We gladly work alongside them, or our specialists join through Expert IT.

Proactive management

Worry-free network management in Zeeland

We use monitoring to keep an eye on your network equipment: the firewall, the switches, the access points and the connections. If a connection slows down or a device needs an update, we deal with it. Most of it we handle remotely, and everything goes into the documentation of your network.

If someone needs to be on site, for an extra access point or a new switch, we schedule it. Want network management and the management of your entire IT in one agreement? That is possible through Digital Care.

Networks by sector

Network management for sectors across the province

Every sector asks something different of a network. A few examples from the province.

Leisure and tourism

Campsites, holiday parks and marinas along the coast want good Wi-Fi for guests across a large site. We provide good coverage and keep the guest network separate from reception, the till and the administration.

Agriculture and food

Fruit growers, arable farmers and food processors work with sorting lines, cold stores and weighing systems connected to the network. We give that equipment its own shielded part of the network and provide stable Wi-Fi in sheds and barns.

Logistics and transport

In warehouses and at transhipment sites, much runs on handheld scanners and tablets. They need Wi-Fi in every aisle. We design the network around the walking routes and keep the link with your planning systems stable.

Healthcare and wellbeing

Healthcare organisations with locations spread across the province need a secure connection between those sites and with their care systems. With our NEN 7510 certification and a carefully designed network, privacy-sensitive data is well protected.

Retail and hospitality

Shops, restaurants and beach pavilions run on till systems, card terminals and guest Wi-Fi. We keep those networks apart, so the till always has priority and guests can browse comfortably, even on a busy summer's day.

Where we work

Network management throughout Zeeland

We work from our head office in Terneuzen for organisations across the whole province: Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, Walcheren, Zuid-Beveland and Noord-Beveland, Schouwen-Duiveland and Tholen. We manage your network largely remotely, so all your locations are in view.

For installation work and on-site maintenance, we come to you. Thanks to the Westerscheldetunnel, the Zeelandbrug and the dams of the Delta Works, every region of the province is easy to reach. If you also have a site in Brabant or further afield, we include it in the same network.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about network management in Zeeland

How do you connect locations on both sides of the Westerschelde?

Over the internet, with an encrypted site-to-site VPN. Each location gets a firewall that sets up the connection with the other sites. For your staff it works as if they are on one network: they open the same files and applications, whether they are in Terneuzen or on Walcheren. We monitor all the connections.

We want better Wi-Fi in our warehouse or workshop. How do you go about it?

We start with an on-site survey. It shows how the signal travels through your building and where walls, racking or machines hold it back. Based on that, we decide how many access points you need and where they should go. After installation we measure again, to confirm good coverage throughout.

What is the difference between network management and system administration?

Network management is about the connections: internet, firewall, switches, Wi-Fi and VPN. System administration covers the whole IT environment, including servers, backups, updates and cloud. For SMEs we often do both, but you can also take network management on its own. For example if you have your own IT person for the systems and would like specialists to handle the network.

Can we have a separate network for visitors or guests?

Yes. A guest network is completely separate from your business network. Visitors can use the internet, but cannot reach your files, printers or till systems. For campsites, marinas and hospitality we set up the guest network so it stays pleasant to use at busy times, for example by sharing the available bandwidth fairly among guests.

Can we get a backup connection for our internet?

Yes, you can. Alongside your fixed connection we install a 4G or 5G backup line. The firewall switches over automatically whenever needed, so you simply keep working. In the introductory meeting we check which connections are available at your address, because that varies from place to place.
